- Organiser: The Tournament is organised by ASEAN CHESS ACADEMY and played under the Laws of Chess and the following rules.
- Eligibility: Organiser reserves the right to accept or reject any entry without assigning any reason.
- Venue: 170 Upper Bukit Timah Road, #10-04 Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, Singapore 588179. Tel: 97907981.
- Date: Monday, 2nd January 2017.
- Reporting Time: 9.30am – Round 1 starts by 10am. Finish by 4.00pm.
- Format & Time Control: 6 rounds Swiss System. 20 minutes per player to complete the game.
- Entry Fee: $40 for Challengers and $50 for Open. Cash or cheque payable to ASEAN CHESS ACADEMY PTE LTD to above address. Message 97907981 or email to sam@aseanchessacademy.com with confirmation of direct payment to DBS Current Account: 070-900185-8.
- Closing Date: Wednesday, 28th December 2016 7pm. Only the first 64 paid up entries will be accepted.
- Prizes: Challengers – Trophies, Centre Membership and Book Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 placings. Medals/Trophies will be awarded to Gold Band (4 points & more) Score Group, Silver Band (3 points & more) Score Group and Bronze Band (2 points & more) Score Group. Open – $500; $200; $100 x 3 with trophies for the top 5 placings. Variation in prizes is at the discretion of the organiser.
- In the event of any dispute against the Chief Arbiter, the decision of the Appeals Committee shall be FINAL and no further correspondences shall be entertained.
